Shooting in Fenstanton

A WOMAN has been arrested after her husband was found dying of gunshot wounds.

Emergency services were called to a property in Swan Road, Fenstanton, at 11.30pm yesterday after reports that gunfire was heard.

Paramedics fought to save the life of the 43-year-old victim, named locally as Simon Woodward, but he died at the scene.

Police arrested the man's 37-year-old wife, who is now in custody. She has been named locally as Karen Woodward.
