The Secretary of State's decision on the Preferred Route and Strategy.
The Secretary of State has considered the views given during the public consultations. She has noted the high level of support for an early completion of improvements to the A14.
She has decided to confirm that improvements to the A14 between Ellington and Fen Drayton should involve:
- Building of a new road following the Orange Route
- Implementation of the CHUMMS Strategy, with the removal of Huntingdon Railway Viaduct."
