Weekly Policing - Fenstanton District 6 FEB 2018

Good Afternoon, Fenstanton District Members –

Here is our weekly summary of offences and incidents affecting your community, reported to police during the period 30th January to 5th February:

Chequer Street, Fenstanton – Police are trying to trace the owner of a white ‘Scorpio’ single-axle caravan left abandoned on Chequer Street, Fenstanton, first reported on Tuesday 30th January. (Refs CC-30012018-0283 and CC-02022018-0238)

High Street, Fenstanton – Police are trying to identify a man who caused damage to windows at a public house on Fenstanton High Street after he was refused service on the grounds of already being the worse for alcohol, at around 5:45 pm on Sunday 4th February. Eight window panes were damaged when the man threw a handful of stones at them before disappearing off down the road. (Ref CF0067930218)

A14 Eastbound – Police were called to an incident on the eastbound A14 at Fenstanton at 6:20 pm on Sunday 4th February, involving a single car which had collided with the central barrier. Fortunately the driver was not hurt and was able to arrange for the car to be recovered herself when it had been moved to safety off the carriageway. (Ref CC-04022018-0368)

A14 Fenstanton – An object was thrown from a grey Ford Focus being driven erratically on the A14 near Fenstanton at around 12:30 pm on Monday 5th February, striking a van that was passing and causing a dent in the front left wing. The car then pulled in to a petrol station. Police hope CCTV may have recorded details that will identify the car and its driver. (Ref CF0068830218)
