Fenstanton Turnpike - Low Road road works.

Latest progress report from Stephen McGee, Cambridgeshire County Council

Further to my previous email I can confirm that works are progressing well which has meant that we were able to reopen the carriageway to cars and light vehicles last week. There will still be one final closure weekend on the 15th and 16th July, which will enable the new surfacing to be installed and the temporary footbridge to be removed.

Due to the removal of the footbridge, a small diversion will be in place for pedestrians which can be downloaded from here.

Once this has been completed, the majority of works will have been carried out meaning the road shall be open to all vehicles and pedestrians.
