Railway Modelling Exhibition

In aid of Fenstanton Parish Church restoration fund.

Date:- 6th June Saturday

Place:- Church Centre.

Time:- 10am – 4:30pm

Admission 14+ £3.50, Under 14 £2.50, Family ticket 2 Adults up to 2 children £7.50 Under 5 free.

On display will be 16mm, P4(00) and other fine scale models.

This is a ‘join in’ not just a viewing experience. 3 layouts are to be on display.

All demonstrators will be keen to talk about their hobby so come along and obtain tips of the trade and help on any problems you may have concerning your own models.

A workshop area will be present where model construction will be demonstrated and uncompleted models viewable.

You will be able to operate trains under supervision and see what is needed to control at scale speeds. Many of the models are not ‘off the shelf’ types but home constructed scale models with very fine scale detail.

All track and signalling is of a similar standard.

A must for any keen modeller. Please come along and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and live in another world.

It is hoped that other local models will be on static display eg boats, helicopters etc.
