John CARTER, of Brookside, Resaurie, aged 79 years, died peacefully in Clachnaharry Nursing Home, Inverness

John was a retired electrical contractor and  long standing Member of Fenstanton Parish Council and former Chairman.

Cremation took place in Inverness, ashes to be interred in Godmanchester at a date to be arranged.

Heather Marion BRACE Passed away peacefully on Sunday 7th August 2011 at her home in Fenstanton with her family around her.

Unusual visitor to Fenstanton

Friday, 29th July 2011 and the whole village is quietly muttering “What is going on in the High Street?”

Shrouded in secrecy, a television crew from Plum Pictures had arranged with the Parish Clerk to use various locations in the village for the filming of an episode of James May’s “Man Lab” which is scheduled for transmission on BBC2 later this year.

James May was seen cycling around on a specially adapted bicycle used as a feature throughout the programme.

Eric Dacre ROBINSON Passed away peacefully in Hinchingbrooke Hospital on Sunday 31st July 2011 Aged 73 years. After a long illness.

Dr David Jon RODGERS Passed away peacefully at home in Fenstanton on Sunday 7th February 2010 aged 71 years.
